Traveling to unknown places has become the norm in my household. The specialists that my autistic son has to see are never anywhere near my home. Fortunately, I don't mind driving or getting lost. Getting lost is a given. Before I leave to go anywhere, I print up directions from randncally.com and mapquest.com. Am I successful in getting there? Yes. Do I get lost? Yes, often. Both sites are great, but often new developments are constructed and they don't even come up on those maps. There is something that can help in this type of situation.
What could prevent you from getting lost?
