Want Your Wedding To Be Special?

Listen, the drama of planning a wedding is unnecessary. Debt or the exorbitent prices for things like wedding cakes, flowers and reception halls are overrated. Let me tell you a little story.

I knew someone that spent thousands of dollars on their wedding. They had a seven course meal in an exclusive reception hall. They had a horse drawn carriage brought to the Bronx to transport them to and from the church. They also had limos for the entire bridal party. Party vans transported the guests from the church to the reception hall. They paid for much of the wedding themselves, with the help of both of their parents. The rest of the expenses were paid for by loans. All of these expenses for a fairy tale wedding that everyone admired.

Guess what? They were married for less then a year, even though they were dating several years before getting married! Personally, I think it was the financial strain. My advice to anyone is to keep it simple. Combine the honeymoon and the wedding and invite your closest friends and family. For more information you can visit Maui Weddings.

Having any kind of wedding shouldn't put you in the poor house right off the bat. Too bad it didn't work out.
