Funny how any situation can change just by looking at it from a different perspective.  This is true from the woman that has been served divorce papers to the person that has just been laid off.

Focus on what you have and the blessings you can share with others.  You will be blessed while blessing others.

This week, my car broke down, my son broke my platform bed, my fridge stopped working and I had to throw all the food out. At 2am this morning, I was STILL doing laundry when the water stopped flowing. I went down to the basement to find 3 inches of water. My water heater broke. Even though it has been a trying week, I made a decision to not be upset. As a matter of fact, I shared this on Twitter and said, I will be happy. Why? I still have it better than so many of my fellow human beings. I have my health, my family, a home and most importantly my faith.

Having a bad day, week, month or year?

This is What Happens When You Never Give Up!

One of the most important things I've taught my children is to never give up. I'm very persistent and tenacious. My children are very much like me. They enjoy beating the odds. They are very competitive and always get up when they fall down. They believe, you'll never know if you don't try. So when my daughter The Diva said, "I want to meet The Jonas Brothers". Guess what I said? I said "OK!" The hyperlink will take you to her adventures with The Jonas Brothers.

Live in the Moment

This is easier said than done. How many times are you walking, driving, at a meeting, in the company of your kids or loved one all the time thinking of something else? You may be physically there, but you're not mentally or emotionally present. Worries of your finances, work or health can be robbing you of your life.

Live in the moment.

Laugh as much as you can. Enjoy the song of rustling leaves, linger in the warm rays of the sun and record in your mind the laughter of your child(ren). Seize the moment to let them know who much they mean, how much you love them.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.

One morning you will never wake up, do all your friends know you love them? I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said. Let everyone of your friends know you love them. Even if you think they don't love you back, you would be amazed at what those three little words and a smile can do.

Today is the Day To Love

Daniel and Jasmine are sitting alone in the park one
night....

Daniel: I guess we are the left overs in this world

Jasmine: I think so... All of my friends have
boyfriends and we are only the 2 persons left in this
world without any special person in our lives

Daniel: Yup I don't know what to do

Jasmine: I know! We'll play a game

Daniel: What game?

Jasmine: i'll be your girl friend for 30 days and you
will be my boy friend

Daniel: That's a great plan in fact i don't have
nothing to do much this following weeks...

DAY 1:

They watch their first movie and they both touched in
a romantic film

DAY 4:

They went to the beach and have a picnic...Daniel and
Jasmine have their quality time together

Daniel invited Jasmine to a circus and they ride on a
Horror House....Jasmine was scared and she touched
Daniel's hand but she touched someone else's hand and
they both laughed...

20mins later... a stranger approached Jasmine

Stranger: Are you a friend of Daniel?

Jasmine: Why yes? What happened?

Stranger: A reckless drunken driver ran over Daniel
and he is critical in the hospital

11:57pm

The doctor went out of the emergency room and he
handed out an apple juice and a letter

Doctor: We found this in daniel's pocket

Jasmine reads the letter and it says:

Jasmine, This past few days, i realized you are a
really cute girl and i am really falling for you..Your
cherish smile your everything when we played this
game..... Before this game would end...I would like
you to be my girl friend for the rest of my life.... I
love you Jasmine....

Jasmine crumples the paper and shouted:

"Daniel ! i don't want you to die... I love
you...Remember that night when we saw a meteor, I
mumbled something... I mumbled that I wish we would be
together forever and never end this game. Please don't
leave me Daniel.... I love you! You cannot do this to

Then the clock strikes 12

Daniel's heart stop pumping

Here's the story:

A young man who had been raised as an atheist
was training to be an Olympic diver.
The only religious influence in his life came from his
outspoken Christian friend.

The young diver never really paid much attention to his
friend's sermons, but he heard them often.
One night the diver went to the indoor pool at the
college he attended.

The lights were all off,
but as the pool had big skylights an! d the moon was
bright, there was plenty of light to practice by.

The young man climbed up to the highest diving board and
as he turned his back to the pool on the edge of the board
and extended his arms out, he saw his shadow on the wall.

The shadow of his body, was in the shape of a cross.
The man felt a strange feeling, like someone was
speaking to him.

Instead of diving, he knelt down and finally asked God to come into his life.
As the young man stood, a maintenance man walked in and turned the lights on.

The pool had been drained for repairs.

Heavens Grocery Store.

When I got a
little closer

the doors swung
open wide

Peace and Joy

so I just helped
myself.

the angel

He smiled and

"Just take them
everywhere you go."

Again I asked
"Really now,

owe?"

"My child" he
said, "God paid your bill

ago."
